If you replace the word “writer” with the word “trader” Harper Lee, author of “To Kill a Mockingbird”, pretty much nails what it is like to be a trader. Yes, there are moments of triumph but many more of defeat. The key to longevity in my opinion is not getting psychologically wrapped up in the P&L. That is a rollercoaster that you’ll never win. Also, dont allow yourself to get into a catastrophic loss that kicks you out of the game. You can’t win if you dont bet and you can’t bet if you don’t have any chips.

Sector Spotlight: Weekly Charts of the Indexes & FATMAAN names
As you’ll see in the charts below and as discussed in the video, all the Indexes and FATMAAN names aside from AAPL are pinned below their 40 week averages. THis puts the charts in a bearish technical posture. A key test will be the January lows. A break below those levels opens the door to a fresh wave of selling. As discussed in the video, the market is transitioning to lower levels of liquidity and that is a condition that historically is a tougher environment for stocks. The Ukrainian dispute certainly has the ability to cause rips and dips but I think this is a secondary factor. I think the primary factor is the FED tackling inflation by raising rates.
